Because of his upbringing, Taj was domineering, pompous, and disdained associating himself with people he believed were inferior. When Taj was forced to live as a penniless street urchin, he had to rob Maplehill's residents. Though Taj's new lifestyle did not help his self-esteem, it helped him become more resourceful. He learned to never take anything for granted, do whatever it takes to survive even if it meant abandoning his morals, and to trust no one but himself.
Backstory/History:
Taj was born in Agrabah, an ancient-early medieval city somewhere in Yemen. From a young age, Taj was disdained by his maternal uncle, Jafar, for his 'street rat' heritage and refered as an 'unfortunate accident'. His paternal uncle was no nicer. Nevertheless, things were going ok until Taj's jealous cousin, Kinza (Jafar's illegitimate son), attacked Taj and dragged his body to an abandoned alley, intending to leave him for dead. When Taj woke up, he found himself in Maplehill. Now, in order to survive, Taj must become the thing his family detests the most: a street rat.
