Parents: Buster/Two-Tone
Name: Brenna
Gender: F
Age: About 15, canine terms
Physical Appearance: A Doberman/Dalmatian mix, Brenna’s has her father’s muscular build, but in most other aspects bears a greater resemblance to her mother. Like Two-Tone, she has white fur, black spots and ears, emerald eyes, and a small hoop ring in one ear; she does have a few of her father’s traits, though, having inherited his brown belly and eye-rims and thicker brows.
Personality: A bully is what Brenna would typically be seen as – with a difference. Controversially to the expected norm of the role, Brenna will usually only pick on pups who are about her age or older, never younger ones, who she has an unexpected soft spot for, and could even become a reasonably caring figure towards them if given the chance. Even the older pups who she does victimise, Brenna will invariably feel guilty once she’s finished with them, making the role more something she puts on because she feels it’s expected than an honest reflection of her personality. She is, however, in most other aspects, a rebel and a risk-taker, liking to live dangerously when she can. Brenna left the junkyard when she was still quite young (but more than old enough to take care of herself) to seek out a life away from her parents.
Backstory/History: Born in a junkyard in New England, as the youngest of a litter of three, Brenna was expected from a young age to be a tough pup, and like her siblings, was raised so as to survive in the harsh world of the streets. Like the male of their litter, Brenna caught on very quickly, and within months was capable enough to fend for herself, and tough enough to intimidate a pup twice her age. Encouraged by her parents, Brenna quickly made herself a reputation as a mean bully, a pup whom others dreaded to cross. At least, until she began encountering pups younger than herself.
After mostly unwittingly making a girl approximately a canine year younger than her cry with her merciless tactics, Brenna found that, to her surprise, she was actually feeling guilty. She could pick on pups older than her with no qualm at all, but when it came to those younger than her, Brenna found herself reluctant. Instead of trying to overcome this reluctance, the girl instead resolved not to seriously bully any puppy below her age, and focus her ways entirely on those who were her age or older, with a single exception – oddly enough – presenting itself in the form of Scamp’s daughter whom, in spite of their fathers’ mutual dislike, she became firm friends with.
When she woke up one day in an unfamiliar world, faced with a choice of tribes to join, Brenna immediately chose the Thieves’ Guild. She wasn’t going to join any clan led by her best friend’s enemies’ brother (a.k.a. her own half-brother), even if it did make its home in a junkyard, and she certainly wasn’t going to risk her life facing undead monstrosities for no good reason. Besides, her upbringing made her ideally suited to assist the thieves’ goals.
