Parents: Armada Starscream, Animated Slipstream
Name: Slipscream “Toothpaste”
Gender: Male
Age: 17 (mentally)
Physical Appearance: Toothpaste is the shorter of the twins, roughly 2.5 meters/8 feet tall. His armor is mostly off-white with bright cyan accenting (therefore the nickname). His afterburners sit on his shoulders. The wings on his back are pointed sharply upward. A Decepticon symbol is on his left wing, but the other wing is blank. He lacks any visible weaponry, melee or firepower. His optics are a soulless black. He transforms into a tiny ultra light aircraft that can barely fit a human adult. He was designed for speed and maneuverability.
Personality: Like father like son, Toothpaste is a brooding, rebellious mess. He doesn’t make himself out to be approachable and appears to have trouble with speaking to others. More often than not, he’d rather be let alone. When confronted, he has the sharp wit his twin lacks. Toothpaste utterly despises having to listen to others’ boasting or being challenged. He’s not one to argue, as he’ll let his inevitable silent revenge speak for itself. He will, however, appreciate acts of kindness toward him and will not easily forget them.
Backstory/History: (I’ll just copypasta the first paragraph for both these guys XP) Streamers and (the unfortunately nicknamed) Toothpaste were “born” of an attempt to create super spies by the original Megatron. They were intended to counter and sabotage the world-dominating attempts carried out by the original Starscream, who, along with one of his counterparts, the Animated continuity Starscream, were attempting to build themselves a personal army out of other ‘bots they stole from their respective universes. Slipstream and the Starscream from the Armada universe promptly ditched the scheming duo to go pursue their own agendas. This, however, left the two of them without allies and open to be captured by the original Megatron and his troops. The two were scanned over and their information was used as the base programming for Streamers and Toothpaste. Samples from Armada Starscream’s Spark were used as a breath of life. Soon after, though, their bodies (and personality) mutated slightly to match in appearance a combination of their “parents”. Armada Starscream and Slipstream escaped almost as soon as the twins were activated, giving Megs one hell of a repair bill on the way out. Feeling attachment to them more than Megatron, they rebelled not long after.
If his brother received all the good traits from his “parents”, Toothpaste was left with all the bad ones. Not only was he a loner, but his optics did not function, leaving him blinder than a bat. Streamers, after aiding him in escaping, went off on a mission to seek refuge in human city. Toothpaste knew there wasn’t arguing with him, so he went along with it but kept quiet. When he outright refused to have an Autobot symbol put onto one of his wings, because he felt it would destroy his identity, he was put in worse standing with the resident humans. Few were willing to trust him, but he was believed to be low risk. He agreed to have his optics replaced once, but he was still unable to see, and it was discovered that the problem lied within his internal optical processors and couldn’t be fixed (*easily*). But luck, for once, was with him because he discovered that he had the ability to send out sonar to let him navigate. It wasn’t advanced because everything only appeared as blobs of matter in his head, and it made pinging noise, so he wouldn’t be able to use it without giving away his location, but Toothpaste tried not to complain. The humans mostly left him alone.
Toothpaste was out flying solo and found that in-between using his sonar, the world topography suddenly changed. He brought himself to a stop and landed. Confused, his sonar was blipping like crazy, attracting the resident walking corpses. He was set upon. Believing for a while that they were the humans he was used to, Toothpaste refused to attack before being convinced that he needed to once his neck was nearly torn out. Using his bladelike claws to cut himself an opening from their decomposing flesh, he flew away. He was forced stop sending out blips and fly blind to avoid being found. He joined the Crystal Guard for the sole reason that it was the first group he stumbled across.
